Last year I had an idea to run a Business Summer Camp in July focused on getting people to take more action and start having fun with their business again, and it was a huge hit!  One of the campers suggested I do something similar in January since it's the other one of the notorious "slow J months" (January and July) and I thought that was a great idea!

But I didn't want to just do camp again.  Camp will be back in July, and will stay it's own special thing!  So I got to work brainstorming how I could winterize it! 

 

Introducing the Business Winter Retreat 🦖☃️ 

January 12th-February 12th

It's not a "retreat" in the sense of sit back and relax, it's actually the opposite!  Although you can get points for doing self care! 

The Retreat is all about getting you to take action, and it includes the tools you need to know what to do and the fun community doing it together that makes you actually do it! 

 

You will choose quick, flexible tasks each week across 4 categories (Networking/Audience Growth, Branding and Relationship Building, Sales and Marketing, Mindset and Mental Health), earn points for each one you complete, and the top point earners will win prizes!

Not competitive?  Don't worry, there are also fun things you can earn and participate in that have nothing to do with competing with others!

Don’t worry, I know you’re busy!  Each of these things will be very quick and simple to actually do, the way you complete the tasks is flexible (you can even wait and earn all the points for the mug on the last day if you really want to, but it’s definitely not recommended 🤣), and the live stuff is totally optional!

I just want to get you taking more action through a notoriously inconsistent month and genuinely feeling excited and having fun with your business again!

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

😅 What if I’m super busy?  A whole month seems so long.

That’s actually who this is for. The tasks are designed to be quick, flexible, and realistic for your life.

You can do one task a day, batch them on the weekends, or even go full chaos mode and earn all your points at the end (not recommended, but technically possible 🤣)

Everything live is optional, and you can totally go at your own pace!

👕 Do I have to earn the mug?

Nope! You’ll still get access to everything even if you don’t  want to hit the threshold, but it’s there as a fun motivation boost if you want it.

• VIP Lodgers get the mug included.
• Base Lodgers can choose to purchase it if they earn it.

 

🧠 Tell me more about Ice Fishing!  How do I "catch a big one?"

These are bigger behind-the-scenes projects you’ve probably been avoiding like setting up your email list, defining your ideal client, or revamping your group.

They’re broken down into 4 mini-steps (recommended to do one weekly so they feel doable, but it’s totally up to you when you do them), and if you complete one, you’ll get extra points plus a bonus snowball at the end of camp!

I have a nice list for you to choose from but if the project you want to tackle isn't on the list, I'm open to adding more!  Just ask me!

💌 Tell me about the content prompts?  

They will be pulled from my January and February Content Prompts, my normal monthly content prompts that I sell!  The posts include personal/branding, value, sales/marketing, engagement, video, and blended posts that combine business and personal.  You will get a PDF with one prompt for each day of the month!

You will also get access to my Prompt to Post Buddy Custom GPT that helps you apply the prompts to your business!

 

 

🦖 Can I do a payment plan?

Yes!  There are built in options from both Shopify and PayPal that let you split it into payments.  I didn't set up another one because of those options, but if you don't want to use one of those, reach out to me at megan@meganbrewster.com and I can set up a payment plan for you!
